Ootacumand (ooty) known as queen of Hills which is situated in Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu where one can enjoy the beautiful sceneries of green mountains,fresh waterfalls and scenic and serene plants.There are two types of season persist in ooty.(apr-june) and (july-october) where you can see the people in the former season from april to june.
Getting to Ooty
There are lots of Bus operating from various places to Ooty in Tamil Nadu and other states as well.
The nearest airport is coimbatore where it 3 hours from ooty.
The best way to get there is by train which one have to get to mettupalayam which is situated in downhills near to coimbatore(chennai-mettupalayam[Nilgiri express] which is operating through out the week) and after getting to metupalayam, there comes the world's famous beautiful toy train where you can enjoy beautiful sceneries and mountains while in the journey of 5hrs to uphill.In the course of the journey one can enjoy the awesome appearance of the nature and has lot of caves which gives and very different experience.
note:-The reservation for the above two trains can be done online in southern railway.it is better to plan well and reserve in advance for the toy train since it is very busy through out the year.

1)Botanical Garden-displays the excellent gardening and various species of flora.
2)rose garden-one can see the various species of rose.
3)Boating
4)pykara lake
5)Mudumalai sanctuary.
